Hah, good point. I guess it’s more like do the research at this moment. I’ll make sure to have quizzes in the future where people can answer questions off the top of their head. Like, how many times has Dravid been dismissed in the 90s in Tests? 8 or 9 times I think. And he had once been unbeaten on 91.

You are right. I think he has been out 8 times and unbeaten once in the 90s.

A quiz of my own. Besides Brian Lara, who is the only batsman in history to score TWO 400+ runs in a single inning in a FIRST-CLASS match?
(NO SEARCHING AROUND)

By the way, 31 run outs from 282 games is amazing. There’s more than a hint of Haq there. Haq is well-known for his poor running. How did Dravid in his territory without anybody really noticing?

Amar: Was that Bill Ponsford for Victoria in the 1930s? Hanif Mohd also has a 400+ score, eh?
April 4, 2006 at 9:59 am
Yep, you got it, Scribbler. Indeed, it was Bill Ponsford.
You are right about Hanif Moh’d. In fact, it was his record of 499 that Lara broke when he scored 501*. There are 3-4 others have also have a 400 to their name I think.

I see the scribbler already got to it. Not that I knew the answer, but I was going to promote it as Quiz No. 3.
